The Spring Valley is located between lake Kaltern and lake Montiggl.
The wonderful colours are waiting for us. Discover what Mother Nature has onoffer, but remember, please don’t pick the flowers, it is prohibited. Spring Valley is easily reached by car. Just ask for information at the Tourist Office. A natural wonder!
Walks:
The hike in the Spring Valley is very easy and suitable for families with children. This hike is highly recommended in March or spring months, as the valley is already in full bloom very early thanks to the mild climate. Above all, the white "Märzenbecher", in South Tyrol also called "big snowdrops", are present in large numbers. Enjoy the nature and please note: Picking is not allowed!

Christmas in Girlan
During Advent, the village is transformed into an extraordinary Christmas open-air museum. Around 30 works of art made of staves and the boards of old wine barrels, invite you to take an atmospheric stroll through the alleys of the wine village.
Cribs at the dome
In St. Pauls, the Christmas tradition comes to life: Until Januray 6th, artisanal masterpieces of nativity art enchant around the cathedral and invite both young and old to a festive exploration.
Living Crib
A very special highlight is organized by the Nativity Society on Sunday, December 15th & 22nd in the center of St. Pauls. At 5 p.m. the "Living Crib" will solemnly move in through the historic alleys of St. Pauls to the specially built stable in front of the parish church.
