Castelmusika 2022
As soon as the green leaves turn yellow and the evening air gets a bit fresher, it's time again for the Castelmusika.
Dream weather and many enthusiastic visitors at the Castelmusika 2022
On Sunday, October 16, the cultural walking day "Castelmusika" took place for the eighth time. In beautiful autumn weather, countless visitors enjoyed atmospheric music, autumnal dishes and unique insights into private residences and castles.
On this cloudless Sunday, numerous Eppan and South Tyrolean music groups as well as choirs and yodelers enlivened the unique manors and castles in the dreamlike vineyard landscape. During a leisurely hike there was the opportunity to take a look into otherwise closed courtyards and be spoiled by Eppan associations with various autumnal Törggelen specialties, as well as homemade sweet and roasted chestnuts. A perfect day for young and old.
There was also a guided walk where you could learn all sorts of things about ancient times in Eppan and the history of the old walls.
The Eppan Tourism Association would like to express its sincere thanks to the farm owners for their hospitality. Equally big thanks go to the Farm Youth Berg, the Farm Youth St. Michael, the Voluntary Fire Brigade St. Pauls, the Sport Bowlers AKC Matschatsch, the Catholic Women's Movement St. Michael and the Shepherds from St. Pauls for the catering. We would also like to thank the Bohemian of St. Michael, the Bohemian of Frangart, the folk dance group Kaltern-Eppan, the yodel trio Scholler, Pasui, the young Bolgstoaner and the Schuaplattlern Welschnofen, who made the Castelmusika 2022 a unique musical and folkloristic experience. Finally, we would like to thank Father Plazidus for organizing the mass and coordinator Walburga Kössler, who once again organized a unique hike to true cultural treasures of Eppan.
